Mediation is the opportunity for people who are having difficulty in resolving differences, to resolve differences through the use of effective communication and negotiation with the guidance of a trained, impartial mediator. Areas of support include: Family Mediation, Parent-Child, Divorce and Child Custody, Mediation In Community, Mediation In The Workplace, and Victim-Offender Mediation.
What is Mediation?
Who does it benefit?
What will be discussed?
How long does it take?
Because some people are unable to attend mediation until all issues are resolved, it is recommended that the most important issues be addressed first so that the time spent with the mediator optimally benefits both parties involved.
How much does it cost?
How do I get started?
Your first meeting will involve discussing expectations and goals of future meetings. Once that is established, the work begins.
Why Mediation?
Mediation is one of the most productive and least costly ways to resolve conflict, both emotionally and financially, especially if children and/or lawyer’s fees are involved.
When it comes to matters that are personal, it is difficult to resolve issues. The mediator keeps the focus on important issues, so issues can be resolved quickly.
